Position: Midfielder

Biography: Cost United £570,000 in March 1986 and he failed to find the net in his first ten games. He was then the club's leading scorer in his first full season at Old Trafford with 14 goals to his name. He was a first team regular until Sir Alex Ferguson, brought Mark Hughes - the man he was signed to replace - back to the club and within months, was sold to Middlesbrough. Went into management with Macclesfield, Bangor, Colwyn Bay and Southport. In May 2010 Davenport was named assistant manager of Bradford Park Avenue. He is also a coarse angling instructor.
