Biography: Sheffield born striker who enjoyed two spells with Saints either side of a season with Blackburn. He enjoys a reputation of being very combative and regularly picks up more bookings than goals. He joined Blackburn in a deal involving James Beattie joining Saints. He returned a year later with Egil Ostenstad moving to Blackburn. Despite not starting many games in a four years period, he moved to Bolton Wanderers where he rediscovered his form, and even earned an England call up.
