Was recognised for much of his stay as the best in the world in his position formed a formidable partnership with Frank Leboeuf. He captained the team for four years, becoming a firm fans' favourite. Is now a Unicef ambassador for his native Ghana and works as a pundit for Canal Plus in France, as well as the BBC.
