Biography: Former West Ham apprentice who won one England Under 21 cap. Played non league football with Chesham United, Hayes and Collier Row whilst training to be a taxi driver. (A member of West Ham's 1981 FA Youth Cup winning side)

Dickens, Alan He was my neighbour and I loved him, I also loved him because he played for West Ham who I also love. I was so proud of him and am trying to contact him once again as to why I come across this site, might not be an interesting story but he was my man and the first professional footballer that I knew. god bless him
