Biography: Bill Dodgin Sr was a wing back who signed for Saints at the outbreak of WWII and because of this never managed a league appearance for the club, but went on to coach and manage the club for three years after retiring from playing. His Son Bill Dogin Jr was also a professional footballer and manager who played for his father at Saints and Fulham, who like Dad never made a league appearance at the Dell. Both sadly no longer with us
