Biography: A powerful wing half who was a key member of the Chelsea team for four years and was a firm favourite with the Stamford Bridge faithful after signing from QPR. Captained the side on a number of occasions until his career was cut short by the outbreak of World War One. Lived in North London and later coached cricket at a school in Maidenhead.
