Position: Left-back

Biography: Was voted Young Player of theYear in 1983 made his debut in the final game of the Second Division title winning season in 1983/84 against Barnsley. He then had to wait until the following March for his First Division bow against Spurs. Was never really able to take the number three shirt away from Doug Rougvie until 1986/87, when he formed an impressive full back partnership with Steve Clarke. The arrivals of Clive Wilson and Tony Dorigo signalled the end of his time at Stamford Bridge and he was sold to Brighton for £35,000. Since retiring, he has been living in Surbiton, Surrey and has worked in IT, the family property management business and is keen sports motivational speaker.
