Biography: Following a premature retirement at the age of 29, Dumitrescu took up a short spell as a player's agent. He then moved into management, and has since managed Otelul Galati, FC Brasov, Alki Larnaca, the Romanian U21 team, FCM Bacau, Apollon Limassol, AEK Athens, Egaleo, Akratitos, Kallithea, PAOK and Panthrikikos. He also owns his own art gallery in Bucharest, Romania.
