Dunmore, Dave I worked with Dave after he had retired as a professional footballer and he returned to his original career as a sheet metal worker. He was well into his 40’s and we used to play football in the street, but you couldn’t get the ball off him even then! He had loads of newspaper cuttings on the wall of the workshop, mainly Spurs and Luton. He was a great guy and ‘one of the lads’ !

Dunmore, Dave What a player Dave Dunmore was . The season Orient went up to the 1st division probably was the best of his career. He was very near an england cap. I met him a few times and he was a perfect gentleman and one of the greats to play for leyton orient.

DUNMORE, Dave As a regular spectator at Tottenham in the mid 1950's I remember Dave Dunmore well. He was always a gutsy player who gave his all for the team. A typical English forward of his time. Well respected by the crowd at Spurs. He came to the club after his York City team beat Tottenham in the FA Cup.

Dunmore, Dave DAVE was a very good centre forward. I used to watch him for spurs and the reserve team from my early teens. He was a battling player and you could always expect a goal. I think he signed for spurs after a cup tie between spurs and York. Bobby smith then came and places were at a premium.
