Eccles, Terry Played against Terry many times, a good player and very competitive. The last game against him in March 1967 was in the Leeds & District Minor Cup Semi Final at Burton's. Yorkshire Amateurs v Pudsey Juniors we beat that great side 1 v 0. I won't repeat what he said me 2 mins from the final whistle after Pete Dyer scored a great goal to end his season. It stuck with me for the rest of my life, cheers Terry.

Eccles, Terry Started watching the rovers when I was 12 in 1969, I remember big Terry Eccles a little later than that, he was a handful for any defence, top guy too who played with his heart on his sleeve. spoke to him many times over the years while at blackburn, similar age (I am 63 today) best wishes my friend!!!!!

Eccles, Terry I remember the height and skill Eccles used to have over everyone. What a great player. Was very close to an England call up. I also remember when Liverpool were linked to taking his services as a footballer. Blackburn need an experienced legend like Eccles as manager to get the team player with their hearts on their sleeves like this guy did.

Eccles, Terry Terry was a good friend at school and he was a brilliant athlete. He could have played Rugby for England, he was that good. Would love to catch up with him. Last time I saw him was in his pub in Upper Poppleton before I emigrated to Australia.

Eccles, Terry Terry is now living in Mojecar, Spain. Great servant and leader of the line for Mansfield Town.
