Biography: Welshman who returned home after a single year in the first team squad at Fratton Park. He had signed on as a member of the groundstaff at the age of 15 but despite making his debut as a 17 year old could not break into the first team on a regular basis. He later played for some magnificently named teams: Abergavenny Thursdays; Latrobe; and Brisbane Hakoah.

Edmunds, Redvern I knew Redvern about 1958/9 when I went to many Pompey games. He was actually playing for the Juniors when I knew him. I must admit I had a crush on him and he was lovely. It’s nice to hear about someone you knew all those years ago.
