Evans, Allan Allan Evans did not win any caps for England as he most definitely was Scottish!

Evans, Allan Remember both Allan and Ivan from my schooldays. We played for the same school in Rosyth then against each other when the family moved to Dunfermline. When Alan went on to play for Dunfermline and Scotland and moved to England to play with Aston Villa, all who knew him were so pleased he had made it to the top. A good man inside and out.

Evans, Allan On Wednesday 10th August 2022, Allan was playing in the British par 3 Championships at Nailcote Hall Nr Coventry. He had a hole in one on the 6th and his prize for that was a week's holiday at a luxury villa in Spain. He was playing with Don Goodman and the pro golfers were Trish Johnson & Phillip Walton. How I know all of this is because I was Allan's caddy for the day.

Evans, Allan I remember Allan from when we were all teenagers would be about 1971. We all used to have a kick around on the pitch next to Touch Primary School, Dunfermline along with Allan's brother Ivan. They were both too good for us. Big, strong and very competitive. Fun times.

Evans, Allan I am a big Villa fan and imagin my delight when i discovered on my last ship in the Navy allan Evans brother in law was serving on the same ship. I must have bored him rotten because every time i bumped into him on board i rambled on about the games i saw him play at Villa Park. Settled in plymouth since leaving the Navy and have often seen him in his driving instructors car going around plymouth. This is a European cup, 1st division championship, and european super cup winner we are talking about. Thank you for your sterling efforts for my beloved Villa Allan.

EVANS, Allan Great player. Hard as nails. Just to say the biography is wrong. He won 4 caps for Scotland not England (wish he had been English!)

Evans, Allan In nearly 50 years watching Villa, never seen a braver Lion. Never gave up. From the time he influenced coming back to draw with Barcelona to being bashed by a Fashanu one day and being a part of the Rotterdam delight. Evo is special
