Fairclough, Chris Knew Chris when he played for Leeds and he was an absolute gentleman.

Fairclough, Chris Played with Chris at Nottingham boys from under 11s to under 15. We both signed schoolboy forms in 1978. We were ball boys at the Nottingham Forest v Southampton 1979 League Cup final. We played at the back together centre half and sweeper for a number of years.

Fairclough, Chris It was my pleasure to be Chris's junior school teacher for two years. During that time it became apparent that he was a special child in many ways. He had a remarkable ability in all sports but his acceptance and even insistence of fair play was beyond his years. I only ever knew him as Chris...not Courtney!
