Ken Foggo

Ken Foggo

Clubs played for: West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City, Portsmouth, Southend United. (1962-1975).

Born: 1943

Birthplace: Perth, Scotland

Position: Winger

Biography: Scottish striker who had enjoyed great success at Norwich City and was their top scorer for three years before the Norfolk club accepted a bid of £25,000 to take him to Fratton Park. Unfortunately the goals dried up and in his two and a half seasons he only added three to his tally. Finished up at Southend in 1976, before ending his playing days at non-league Chelmsford City. Went on to set up a launderette with Bobby Kellard and when their partnership split up he continued in the business running his own launderette and dry cleaners in Chingford, Essex.

Foggo, Ken On Xmas day I think 1971 Norwich held a public training session. All the players were more than happy to sign autographs. I nearly died of shame when the pen ran out when Ken was signing. Was gutted when he left Carrow Road but he got a great reception when he returned playing for Portsmouth.

Foggo, Ken "Oh Kenny Foggo, Kenny Foggo on the wi-ing" etc.
Loved watching him at Carrow Road in the early 70s. What a talent. Why did they sell him?

Foggo, Ken I remember Kenny Foggo, many moons ago when he started out. I think it was Tweedale in Peeblesshire. I played for my local team Linton Hotspur. Funnily enough in the same team was a young guy called Kit Napier.

Foggo, Ken Kenny Foggo was my favourite player when I started supporting the Canaries in the late Sixties and early Seventies. I still have a replica 71/72 shirt with his name on the back. I would love to meet him and thank him for all the happy memories I have from that era.

Foggo, Ken Ken was my favourite player when I was a young Norwich City supporter in the late 1960s. I still remember the chant, "he's here, he's there, he's every xxxxxx where, Ken Foggo, Ken Foggo" I was gutted when we sold him and always wanted to have the chance to thank him for the enjoyment he brought. A great player for the Canaries.

Foggo, Ken Ken is my Grandad's cousin John Foggo. Sadly my Grandad passed away in the 80's but he had 2 daughters, 1 granddaughter and 2 great grandsons. Would love to trace relatives that have lost contact years ago.
