Position: Striker

Biography: A goal scorer, signed from Argentinian side, Independiente, in January 2002 in a £6.9 million deal. But for his first 27 games, he couldn't find the back of the net. He became a Fans' Favourite at Old Trafford after scoring a brace in a 2-1 victory at Liverpool. Given his scoring record, it was no surprise when he left for Spanish outfit Villarreal in July 2004 for an undisclosed fee. During his time with United, ForlAn won a Premier League, FA Cup and Charity Shield winner's medal. He has been a fixture in the Atletico Madrid front line since his transfer in June 2007.
