Biography: A teenage star in the making when he was at Tottenham but arrived at Old Trafford via Atletico Madrid, initially as cover on the left hand side for Ryan Giggs. But Sir Alex Ferguson soon discovered that he could play central midfield or Left-back where he made most of his first team appearances. He won the FA Charity Shield in 2003 and the Intercontential Cup in 1999 before leaving the club on a free transfer. Has been without a club since January 2010 when he left Doncaster following an injury ravaged spell.
