Biography: Welsh Inside forward with eleven caps joined Southampton in a double deal from Newcastle United in 1954 alongside Tommy Mulgrew and although Mulgre went on to play over 300 games for Saints, Foulkes career faltered when he sustained a back injury, one that Saints claimed he must have been carrying when he signed. He later signed for former club Chester City and went on to make 173 league appearance for them. He remained in Chester after retiring taking on a ÐMilk BarÓ He sadly died aged just 52 in 1979
