Position:

Biography: A prolific goalscorer for all his clubs and added to his tally during his three year stay at Fratton Park. He was initially brought in to replace the popular David Kemp and had to work hard to win the fans over. A goal average of one in every two games for two consecutive seasons helped him achieve this, but it still did not stop him being cast aside by John Deacon. Despite ending up as top scorer in the 1979-80 promotion, Colin moved to Aldershot in the January for £54,000. He now lives in Newark, Notts and works for an engineering company in Wisbech.

Garwood, Colin With the big FA Cup game between Portsmouth and Kings Lynn Town on Saturday, 28th Nov. I wondered if you have played for both teams at some point in your football career? I know your your connection with Portsmouth. Being born at Heacham, did you ever play for the Linnets at any level?
