Gates, Eric I was told this story about Gatesy. He was at the end of his playing career at Carlisle and was a sub. It was winter time, cold and wet and with five minutes of the game to go he was told to go and warm up. He duly trottered along the touchline and straight into the changing room for a hot shower.
