Gayle, Brian Many years ago, when he was captain of SUFC, Brian Gayle came along to spend a session with my Beaver Scouts when they were doing a project on people in uniform. He did a talk about his pride in his SUFC strip, led a brief coaching session, played a game of football with them (he played one half on each team), and then posed for a photo with each child before they went home. He left me with the impression that he’s a thoroughly decent gentleman, and United gained a few fans that day.
