Biography: Opened a pet food and garden shop in Exmouth before moving back to Leicestershire where he was a postman for twelve years and was also co-owner of a residential rest home in Whetstone before retiring to Dorset. (Played for Leicester in the 1963 FA Cup final)

Gibson, Dave Being a Leicester supporter since the 1961 cup final. I’ve seen lots of top class players pass through our club over the decades. It would be very difficult for me to pick a top 10 players list but one thing for sure is Davie Gibson would in there.
