Biography: The Welsh international worked as a site agent before retiring to Northern Cyprus five years ago. Died in February 2010 following a long battle with cancer.

Godfrey, Brian Met Brian at the Crest Hotel Bristol in November 1990 He was manager of Gloucester City and had just completed the signing of a player from Bristol City I spent a good hour in his company recalling his time at Preston North End and he was a perfect gentleman to me, a complete stranger Very good player R I P Brian

Godfrey, Brian last I seen of him he was manager of Cinderford Town when Bromsgrove Rovers played them in 1st rd of the FA Cup back in the early 90s. funny incident happened during the game when a Bromsgrove fan shouted something towards him and Godfrey offered him out on the pitch.
