Biography: Spent 20 years as a paint sprayer followed by 8 years as a parks patrolman before retiring. His one regret from his playing days was that he left his teeth in the dressing room during one of his 13 appearances for the Republic of Ireland: they were 2-0 up with ten minutes to go when the Danish supporters, accusing them of time-wasting, decided to pelt his penalty area with apples! Died in August 1996.
