Biography: Goram had achieved legendary status with Rangers by the time he joined United on loan from Motherwell for the title run-in during the 2000-2001 season when Fabien Barthez and Raimond van der Gouw were ruled out of action. He played two games after United were reported to have paid around 100,000 to secure his services. The former Scotland international cricketer lives in Rutherglen, Glasgow, where he runs a pub and has worked as a goalkeeping coach. He also does some after dinner speaking and attends functions for Rangers fans.
