Biography: Spent the latter part of his career as player boss of Torquay and he still lives managing a sub post office. (Won promotion to the Second Division in successive seasons)

Green, Mike I have the upmost respect for Mike Green.
I played youth football for him and with his son Chris who was just as nice as Mike and not forgetting his lovely wife and daughter too.
When I played for him at Torquay colts I never knew he was a former pro and that’s the type of guy he was, so modest. Mike Green is a legend in my eyes and I will always love this guy.

GREEN, Mike I met Mike when he finished playing. He managed a local boys team, who my son Stephen played for. I remember buying a motorbike off him! I believe he became a golf pro at Petitor golf club. A nice man, and a gentleman.
