Biography: A defender who made over 600 league appearances between 1980-1999.In 2001 he became caretaker manager of Wigan Athletic for six games before leaving the club shortly afterwards.In 2002 he became Head Of Youth Development at Rochdale. In 2005 he was appointed to the role of Coach Education Manager at Lancashire F A a position he still holds.A scratch golfer who plays at St Annes he tried to qualify as an amateur for the 2012 Open at Lytham but failed in his attempt to qualify.
