Position: Midfielder

Biography: Signed for an initial £500,000 in March 1998, a month after spending a successful four days on trial at Old Trafford. He was an unused sub in the Champions League Final win over Bayern Munich in 1999 but couldn't hold down a regular place in the first. Frustrated by the lack of first team chances, he followed United's assistant manager, Steve McClaren, to Middlesbrough along with team mate Mark Wilson. In July 2010, he signed a permanent deal at Fulham following a successful loan spell in West London.
