Biography: Retired from playing in 1965 and became a publican in Edmonton. Later took a job as a salesman, and then worked his way up to Branch manager with Hambro Insurance before retiring. Uncle of Perry. (Capped by England at under 23 level)

Groves, Victor He was not the uncle of Perry. Slightly more distantly related. To the extent that if you look at the family tree Groves is the incorrect surname for Perry.

Groves, Victor Neilson Kaufman here historian to Leyton Orient. Sadly I report the death of Vic Groves of former Leyton Orient Arsenal forward Vic GROVES on Saturday 25 January 20915 at his home in Chessington, Surrey aged 83. The same as the death of another former Orient player Dave Groombridge.
