Biography: England international, who scored 116 goals in his 361 league games for Sheffield United. Enjoyed much success as a manager with WBA in the 1960's and then Benfica a decade later. Lived in retirement in Walsall until his death aged 80 in February 1998.(Division Two Champions with Sheff Utd)

Hagan, James We always referred to him as ' Sir ' james hagan= I watched him for years at Sheff Utd in the 40's and 50's and he was a brilliant and cultured footballer. he will always be rememberd as a legend at Bramall lane.
