Position: Full-back /Half-back /Left forward

Biography: A boilermaker by trade, was signed as a Centre-half but then became a Left-half. His career took a setback with two broken legs and he spent a year out of the game before making a comeback with Brentford. Rejoined United the following season in London, playing in the 1909 FA Cup success. Lost his place in the side the following season and moved to Bradford City. Vince coached the Norwegian Olympic team for the Stockholm games, he then coached Austrian side Weiner SV, returned home to work for the Players' Union before becoming player manager of Rochdale until 1919, was then secretary-manager of Preston and managed Madrid. He ended his working life running a pub in Stockport and then a hotel in Prestwich.
