Birthplace: Glasgow, Scotland

Position: Centre-forward/Inside-forward/Winger

Biography: Initially a centre forward, he also played as an inside forward and left-winger. With lightening pace he was a constant threat as well as being a capable goalscorer. This combination cemented his position in the team but also earned him seven full Scottish caps . Moves to Wolves and Arsenal followed but a broken leg while playing for Fulham ended his career in 1963. Moved to Dorset and turned out for Dorchester Town while working as a storeman for a local builders merchants in Poole. He lived in Broadstone until his death in January 2005.
