Biography: A central defender who Southampton signed from Sheffield Wednesday's youth set up in 1963, he made just three league appearances before moving to Brighton for just one season, to finish his playing career with Durban United in South Africa. Hennigan has since been youth coach at Rotherham United and one of the FA's leading instructors for coaching developmental programmes.In 2005 he was named as caretaker manager of the national team of Malawi on a four month contract
