Biography: Sheefield born forward who established himself at Lincoln City alongside Glenn Cockerill and then Grimsby Town before joining Saints in 1986 for £120 000, his Saints career was spoiled by an ankle injury and he returned to his old club Lincoln, scoring against Southampton on his debut but Saints won the game. He later became assistant manager at Salisbury in 1985 and 1997. He still lives in the Southampton area and is a director of a yacht sales and charter business Fairview Sailing in Hamble le Rice
