Hodge, Martin Went to school with Martin, he was always our best player and played on the wing most of the time. I played in the Southport Schools Rep team with him amid rumors Everton wanted to sign him as a 15 year old. We had an away game against Manchester Schools with Everton there watching, we lost 13-0, a certain David Bennett scored 9 and Everton did 'nt sign Martin.... likely due to my inability to control David Bennett!!. Eventually Everton bought Martin from Plymouth.

Hodge, Martin Martin is now the chief scout at Burnley Football Club
