Biography: Twice a FA Youth Cup winner during his time at Old Trafford, he went on to captain the reserves and sat on the first team bench three times without ever seeing any action. Was sold to Wrexham in March 1960 for £2,000. Joined the Staffordshire Police force and was on the beat for 27 years until his retirement in 1994.
