Biography: Was killed ten days after signing for Bristol City in a crash near Reading when the car his wife was driving careered off the road and crashed into a tree aged 28.

Horrix, Dean Dean was one of football's nice men. I went to his memorial match at the old den with supporters from all his clubs mixing together. It was most memorable for a young gazza picking up a Mars bar thrown onto the pitch and eating as he went dribbling through the players. Rip Dean.
