Position: Goalkeeper

Biography: An American international who arrived at the club from the New Metrostars in a $4 million deal in 2003 to replace Fabien Barthez. He became the first American to win a FA Cup winner's medal in his first season. His second season wasn't as smooth, sharing the goalkeeping duties with Roy Carroll. He was then replaced as first choice by Edwin van der Sar and left the club permanently in March 2007 to join Everton, following a loan spell at Goodison Park.
