Biography: Midfielder Hughes spent nine years at Southampton, a career blighted by numerous injuries including two broken legs, He was much more successful at Eastleigh where he scored 38 goals in more than 250 games, and managed the club between Jason Dodd leaving and Ian Baird taking over, he then moved onto Sutton United. After football he moved into property development and is now Football Consultant for Midas Sports Management along with other ex-Saints Dave Beasant and Steve Wood. He remains a qualified FA Coach and still turns out for Ex Saints
