Hughes, Gordon i first met gordon around 1959 he had played against man u and sustained a broken leg i met him before he played for newcasle at deepdale preston he was with albert franks he was so impressed with tom finney he told me for a few years after that my father and i visited gordon at his parents house his dad mossy was a miner they where wonderful people and very hospltable my father and his pal continued to visit i was married then and lost touch with gordon it is brilliant to see gordon is still alive and i would love to be able to get in touch with him i still have a photo he sent me of him and his dog sat on the doorstop it is a pleasure to speak of gordon yours ken benson
