Position: Half-back

Biography: A fiery wing half nicknamed 'Cocky' who had suffered from discipline problems before his time at Pompey, and it is reported that his manager nor his team mates could control him. Wrote a light hearted football book before going onto serve as a sergeant-major in the army during the World War One seeing action in France and Gallipoli. The Indian born enigma served three months hard labour in August 1930 for deserting his wife and children and died in February 1934 aged 46.
