Birthplace: Novi Sad, SFR Yugoslavia

Position: Defensive midfielder

Biography: A Serbian international who was signed by Claudio Ranieri for £1.7 million from Deportivo La Coruna to replace the injured Roberto Di Matteo. Never really enjoyed a settled run in the team because of a rotation policy in his two years at the club. Moved to Madrid and joined the technical staff of third division Club Atletico de Pisto before returning to his former club Partizan. As head coach he led them to a league and cup double but resigned in September 2009 citing a feud within the club's board as the reason for his departure.
