Birthplace: Kribi, Cameroon

Position: Right-back

Biography: Cameroonian right back who won gold in the Sydney Olympics with his country and formed part of the Arsenal team that were dubbed the "Invincibles" in 2004. Cost Pompey £500,000 three years later. Played regularly in his first season but lost his place following the arrival of Glen Johnson and was released at the end of the 2008/9 season. Lauren signed for Spanish second division side Cordoba CF in March 2010 but only managed to play 5 games before retiring at he end of the season. Still lives in Spain where he acts as a commentator and an ambassador for Arsenal .
