Position: Left wing

Biography: Spent two years as an amateur before turning professional although two years of his time at the club were lost to National Service with R.A.M.C. He made his league debut against WBA at Outside-left but with competition from Frank Blunstone, Mike Block and Jim Lewis, he was allowed to leave for Everton. Settled in Ashford, Kent. Is now retired after working as a salesman for the Smiths Crisps for 18 years and then a local buildersĀ merchants.
