Biography: When Sir Geoff Hurst needed a replacement for Bill Garner, he opened the cheque book and paid £200,000 to Spurs. Lee made his debut against Cardiff City and over the next five years was a regular in the starting line up. He helped the club to the second division title in 1984 before scoring two goals in the Full Members Cup Final against Manchester City despite playing most of the season at full back because of the Kerry Dixon and David Speedie partnership. He suffered his fair share of hamstring injuries and was allowed to join Brentford to pursue his interest in coaching. Has managed Watford, Wolves, Torquay, Walsall and Millwall. Made a fortune as a property developer and was CEO at Torquay United until being placed in gardening leave at the end of the 2009-10 season.
