Legg, Billy I met Billy in St Luke’s hospital in Bradford 53 years ago when I was 15. He was having corrective surgery after his car accident and could only speak in a whisper. I was a long way from my family in Hull and only saw them once a week. I think he realised that I was lonely so he used to ask me to go down to the ward he was on and he would play records on a little record player. He was such a kind and thoughtful person and I’ll always remember him for that.

Legg, Billy Met Billy Legg at the Yorkshire Television soccer academy back in the 80’s A really nice guy and a great coach. The academy was run by Ernest Womersley. I believe he had something to do with Huddersfield Town as well
