Lewis, Jim I met Jim Lewis and got his autograph in the mid 50s. Did he have/work in a newsagents in Walthamstow?

Lewis, Jim I attended a match between Walthamstow Avenue and Wycombe Wanderers at Loakes Park in 1959 that featured Jim Lewis. I think it was a shot from him that hit the back of the net with such force that the ball flew back into play. Whilst the Walthamstow players surrounded the referee when he failed to signal a goal, the Wycombe goalkeeper cleared the ball upfield. Can anyone confirm that it was Jim who "scored" that day?

Lewis, Jim Sorry to say but my Father never ran a pub in Southend. He remained with Thermos until he retired. Unfortunately he died 7 years ago.
