Biography: He spent three seasons at Old Trafford, two as a professional, but never made the breakthrough into the first team squad. He was allowed to join Chicago Sting on a free transfer. Finished his career in Australia, lives in Brisbane where he has business interests that include a Beauty Therapy training school and a licensed securities company.

Lowey, John John lived with my family when he played for the California Sunshine. He became a part of our family and we loved him dearly. Shocked to learn of his death. Would love to hear from family.

Lowey, John Hi, The Blackburn Rovers Official site today (Wed August 7th 1919) announced that John passed away on Monday 5th August aged 61. No other information was provided. He was a good honest pro and gave Rovers great service for five seasons. RIP
