MacEwan, Jimmy My dad knew Jimmy during their National Service dsys in the RAF.
My dad was an ameatur footballer, but always enjoyed playing alongside Jimmy . After their basic training, the squadron was split into 2 flights, Jimmy's went to Germany, whilst my father went on to Egypt. On returning to the UK 2 years later, my father's flight entered their billet, which was in complete darkness, and as they walked through the door, the lights were suddenly switched on, and it was then that they were reunited with the flight from Germany who had arrived in the UK a few days earlier, Jimmy being at the fore front of the "welcoming-party".

Macewan, Jimmy Great memery of Jimmy playing on the right wing and taking the odd penalty. I drive a black cab in Erdington. Jimmy would always stop and talk to the Villa fans on the rank. Great bloke.
