Mackenzie, Steve I used to pick my friend up on the Park Hall estate, Walsall where he lived at the time when Steve played for the Albion.
My friend and I used to talk to Steve after the match after the mid week matches, and after the home matches, he was a good lad, interesting young man.
Interested to know, what happened to Steve?

Mackenzie, Steve I have a photograph of Steve when he presented me with my jackpot winnings at the bingo in Oldbury. Not sure of the year but he was playing for West Bromwich Albion at the time.

Mackenzie, Steve Steve is my cousin and we everyone in our family is very proud of his achievements as a footballer, especially the goal he scored in 1981 FA Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Mackenzie, Steve I used to play with him as a kid for Byron Red Star. Also in the team was Clive Allen and Ron Fearon (goalkeeper who I think played for Ipswich). Had some good memories playing with them.

Mackenzie, Steve I worked at DMU in Leicester. Steve McKenzie joined the gym I worked at, the John Sandford Sports Centre. We tried to get him to joint our 5 a side team. No luck. We did call our side Steve McKenzies moustache though.

Mackenzie, Steve Steve played for my dad's Sunday team called International FC from Basildon Essex. We were U/15s so good we were sponsored by Chelsea at the time. A year later Steve got signed by C.Palace then later with Malcolm Allison at Man City. Steve was the first £250,000 teenager. As a Spurs fan, myself,Ron his Dad, and all his family saw Steve score one of Wembley's best FA Cup goals against Spurs in 1981.
My own Dad whom passed recently was sent a wonderful letter from Malcom Allison to say thanks for everything that he had done for Steve as a youngster.
Steve’s career that I followed was unfortunately plagued by injuries but wow what a player.
I hope Steve and the family are still all together & well.
