Biography: A left winger who was working in a bakery when he signed for Histon. Spotted by a United scout who invited him for a trial. Persuaded Sir Alex Ferguson to give him a four year deal and pay £30,000. This saved Histon who were £23,000 in debt. Debuted as a sub against Millwall in January 1989 but suffered a serious knee injury after just a handful of games and never played for the club again. He then returned home to work in his family's upholstery business. Has since played in United's Masters Football Team.
